About this site

I made this site cause I missed sites that were more maze-like and tried to resemble a physical place. I was inspired by sites like Gaia Online, the old Disney website (specifically "Zoog Disney", after which this site is partially named), and many others, to make something in the same vein. I also used it as a place to showcase some of the art I've done as well as random bits and pieces I have lying around, as well as some all-new stuff made for the site. I want it to be more than a portfolio peice, but somewhere that's a game in itself. somewhere that you feel you can just sort of "hang out" in.

This is less a personal site for posting updates than it is just a standalone game in itself. Although I do plan to update it occaisionally if I want to.

About Me

I'm Kate Barrett, a game developer from somewhere in Europe. I usually post my work here here and I tweet here. I was born in 1989 and I've been making stuff since about 2003.

I've gone by several names: "thewaether" (spelled like "Aether", the element) is my standard username, Amy Rot (name got from an old music project), and "Kate B Corp" is the unofficial name of my studio.
